Join Cycle 13 of the Latina Mentoring Academy for their Capstone presentations! The Latina Mentoring Academy promotes the development of Latina talent in Central Ohio. We do this through our mentoring and leadership development program as well as community-based programming. Our mentoring and leadership development program brings together Latinas at all stages of their careers for a unique professional development experience combining culturally relevant workshops, and professional mentorship. Our community-based programming aims to foster a stronger connection of the LMA network to the broader Columbus community. As a culmination of our leadership development program, LMA participants create potential projects that address opportunities and/or challenges in the Latino community. These "capstone" projects help to highlight the talent within each cycle as well as put the skills that they have cultivated through their LMA experience to work before an audience of community leaders, supporters, and LMA champions. Each year the LMA staff chooses one project that we will take on as part of our community-based programming. Cycle 13 has worked hard on creating projects that address the needs of Latines in Central Ohio. We are thrilled to showcase another year of amazing capstone presentations. This is a free event and open to the public. Networking begins at 6pm. The program will begin at 6:30pm. Parking: Parking will be meter parking off N High Street and a lot on the corner of W Greenwood & N High Street.
