This is a full theater experience and more. The Blood & Fashion Show is an annual event that tell stories of black and brown people and the ways they cope with mental health. The Blood & Fashion show seeks to highlight and celebrate stories about black families, black love, black children, black men and women, black sorrow and of course black joy. This event is a black tie event that includes; dinner and a fashion show (in collaboration with local designers), a play based on the ideal of "the strong black woman", and lastly coffee and dessert networking hour. This is a festive and magical event that pushes to the forefront the incredible talents that exist in some of our most impoverished and neglected neighborhoods. The Blood & Fashion group is dedicated to providing this annual opportunity for people of all ages to be a part of a full theater production; most of whom otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in such productions. We look forward on continuing to bring the arts to the Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan area and beyond. *The Strand Theater is ADA accessible
