This year we recognize the employers, who have opened their doors to Aspie employment and celebrate Asperger Works’ 10th Anniversary. Our fundraising event remembers the successes and difficulties of the past, recognizes the challenges of the present and future, and honors the wonderful supportive spirit of the Greater Haverhill community. We also applaud people and organizations that make major contributions to our disabled community within the Merrimack Valley and beyond. Asperger Works is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization that was founded in 2012 with the goal of aiding adult Aspergians (those diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome) with employment issues. In 2015, we started having fundraising dinners that we call the Dinner of Hope. This year's theme, Employers: the Key to Aspie Success! says it all. We discovered that preparing Aspies for employment is not enough. We needed to have supportive employers onboard as well. We thank all those who have stepped up to the plate!
