When you hear Marielle Kraft’s music or experience her candid live shows, you feel as though you already know her. The indie pop singer/songwriter, now based in Nashville, displays craftsmanship beyond her years, following suit to artists like Shawn Mendes, Maisie Peters, and Taylor Swift. Self-taught, the Rhode Island native began playing guitar at 16 and soon writing songs that strike chords with listeners everywhere. Her gift for storytelling is evident through her use of salient detail, raw emotion, and poignant word choice to describe moments “exactly as they feel.” Over the past few years, Marielle Kraft has self-released one original EP, eight singles, and four official music videos. Special guest Sarah Gross will be opening the show. Sarah is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Mastic Beach, NY and a fourth-year student at Syracuse University. Years ago, her journey as a recording artist began with her debut EP Between Stars. Six singles, two albums, and countless performances later, Sarah has solidified herself as a staple of Syracuse University’s music scene and a rising voice in Americana. This year, Sarah released her third album, The Riversides, conveying the nostalgic and emotive nature of water introspectively and in her relationships through a warm, folk-driven sound. DOORS: 6PM SHOWTIME: 7PM RULES OF THE ROAD: The 443 has a $15 per person/seat required minimum purchase for our shows, which can be any combination of food and drink. If your party (or part of it) does not show up, the ticket buyer is responsible for the minimum purchase for the empty seats. The 443 is an 18+ venueNo outside food or drink is allowed in. This is a "listening room" style show - you will be expected to limit your conversation during the performance. If you buy a GA ticket, you are guaranteed a stool and table, you may be seated with other GA ticket holders in order to maximize seating.
