Come dance with us down Main Street as we celebrate the opening of the 2022 Sag Harbor American Music Festival!ESCOLA DE SAMBA BOOM In 2002 a group of drummers met to explore Brazilian rhythms and started a journey that would take them to Escola de Samba BOOM. Today BOOM is a tight and swinging Bateria (percussion section) of thirty members who have filled their souls with music from the heart. Our premise has always been to give it away and it will come back to us, and it has. Based in what is called the “Hamptons” or the East End of Long Island, BOOM has performed at community events and festivals, sharing the sounds of Brazilian percussion - Samba.
