What is UB Homecoming SOUL exactly? - It's an alumni reunion weekend targeted to meet the interest of BIPOC alums & students of the University at Buffalo. Historically, UB Homecoming Weekend hasn't been culturally relevant to our specific demographics. Our mission is to change that narrative by providing an experience alums/students will look forward to attending in the future. 2. Do I have to be an actual alum to attend UB SOUL? No, we welcome ALL our UB family to attend our specific UB SOUL events! 3. Is this event kid-friendly? - Two of our events (UB Homecoming Carnival & Tailgate) is geared for the entire family, as the remaining events are adults only. Please plan accordingly. 4. Is there a host hotel? Yes, our official host hotel is the Hyatt Regency Buffalo which is located in the downtown area. Yes, our VIP package includes access to all of our events, including the UB Homecoming Football game. In addition, guests will receive a Welcome UB SOUL Gift Bag with some great giveaways courtesy of our sponsors. 6. What should I expect at these events? - Guests should expect to enjoy themselves while reconnecting with past friends and building new relationship. Many of our events will include complimentary food and drinks, which is always brings a good time. 7. I'm a current UB student, what's in it for me? - We welcome you to register for our Kickback & Tailgate events, as it will be an amazing opportunity to network with our alums. Our friends at M&T Bank will be on hand discussing possible opportunities they may have for current students and alums within their company. Unfortunately, current UB undergraduate students will not be allowed at our Saturday evening programming. 8. Do you have to have an UB affiliation to come to UB SOUL? - We welcome all of our friends who've attended the other local colleges in the area to attend. We don't want anyone to feel left out, as some of you were integral part in our overall college experience. We appreciate the support in advance! 9.
