Led by certified Usui Kundalini Reiki Master, Angel Montague, you will study Reiki in the Usui tradition as well as a Western perspective. Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing system which has long been used for reducing physical pain, stress and anxiety, releasing emotional blockages, and balancing the body’s energy centers. Learn what it means to walk the path of Reiki and how to give yourself and others a complete Reiki healing session. This class will involve lecture, discussion, guided meditation and hands on experience. Level one training includes: • The history of Reiki • Five Elements • Precepts • Meditations • Technique • Japanese energetic system (3 diamonds) • Intro to Chakras • Traditional use of symbols and mantras • Hands on healing • Reiju attunement Upon completion of the class each student will receive a Reiki Level 1 certificate.
