Become part of an award-winning team in a professional home design business. You will participate in creating incredible interiors, and helping our clients move into their new homes on an as-needed, part-time basis. You will do more than move furniture. You will create a unique, customized look for each property through the delivery and installation of our furnishings and accessories. To excel in this position, you will need to be able to safely lift and carry furniture and fragile objects up and downstairs for several consistent hours. Your adept packing skills will enable you to pack the truck with fragile items and transport them to their destination without any damage. Our commitment to our clients is to return them a neatly staged property so you will be responsible for cleaning up after installations. We are looking for someone to come in as soon as possible and make the most of this exciting opportunity! Essential Functions: • Performing various furniture services duties including but not limited to delivery, assembly, and installation • Ability to safely lift and carry furniture and fragile objects, often up and down stairs, for several consistent hours on a daily basis. • Safely pack the vehicle with fragile items and transport them to their destination without any damage. • Ability to assemble and install artwork with precision, using basic tools. • Unload incoming furniture from delivery trucks. • Cleaning and organizing the job site, including discarding waste & recycling. • Maintaining the organization of product inventory. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. • Experience driving large box trucks preferred but not mandatory. • Strong attention to detail to ensure a consistent Professional Home Staging experience for all clientele. • Proven ability to work well with others. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • English fluency is required, and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. Physical Demands: Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Work requires physical effort and strong mechanical abilities such as working with power tools, equipment, and assembly of components while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. • Employees must frequently lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 - 100 pounds. • Employees will regularly drive a delivery truck and must be able to enter and exit the truck throughout the day. • Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality service and results.
