In this Breathwork Journey with Breathwork & Reiki Practitioner Kate Griffith, we will use the breath as the vehicle to connect to our inner guide. You will be guided through an active breathing pattern, where you will not only move energy in the body but disassociate from the conscious mind, allowing a deepened connection to self. This deepened connection is where we are able silence our overactive minds and find truth, clarity, and inner knowing. Breathwork opens the door to personal growth and transformation with it's simple yet effective ability to connect mind, body, & spirit. If you haven't tried Breathwork before, this is an incredibly powerful tool to tap into your inner wisdom. The session begins with a grounding meditation. We then have time to review the technique, benefits & demonstration. We ease into the active breathing, where you will be guided & supported throughout & ease our way out. We end the session with a sound bath & integration. What you will need: Yoga Mat or something comfortable to lie onWaterBlanket & pillow (optional but recommended for comfort) Eye Mask (optional) Dress comfortably& Bring an Open Heart & Open Mind Please note: we will begin right at 7pm and doors will be locked to ensure we are distraction free & respect the journey with deep integrity of the power of the breath! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get comfortable at Freedom Rocks Co. located at 550 Cookman Ave Store #106 Asbury Park, NJ No drugs will be taken in this Psychedelic Breathwork Journey! Your guide for this event- Kate Griffith is a Breathwork & Reiki Practitioner & Empowerment coach. Her own healing journey led her to leave a successful career in Corporate Sales to follow her passion. That passion being to guide others to find a deepened sense of self & empowerment. Kate uses the breath to guide others to reach a deeply meditative state where one can disconnect from their conscious thoughts, connect deeper to the body & open the heart while processing emotions & feelings. You can find more about Kate on IG @iamkategriffith or iamkategriffith.com This event will also be supported by- Anand Sukhadia the founder of om.life Wellness Modern Recovery Spa, a holistic wellness sanctuary dedicated to mind, body & spirit health located in Jersey City, NJ. Anand is also the host of The Limitless One Podcast where he interviews individuals living a limitless life in their unique fields of passion. He will be here to assist Kate through the session & intuitively support when needed. You can find more about Anand on IG @anand.life or @omlifewellness More detail on the Breathwork Journey To Prepare: It is advised to not be overly caffeinated or overly full as we want the mind to have the opportunity to relax. Please hydrate before & come with an open mind & open heart ready for expansion. Please arrive on time & we love if you have intentions set for the evening as well. From 7pm to 9pm: We begin with a short meditation to connect our hearts & ground into the space. We will then review the technique, the impact, and how you may feel during. You will be guided/coached through the entire practice: warm up, the active breathing, and into the cool down. All of which are accompanied by music and often times sound bath as well. The warm up: is the time to get comfortable, clear your mind, and ground into the space. During the active breathing: you will be guided into a three-part breath, two inhales & one exhale. Breathing deeply into your diaphragm and abdominals (we know this sounds like work but the body stabilizes, and this feels completely normal) and letting the air gracefully fall out of the body. Here you will enter theta state & disconnect from your conscious thoughts. In this deeply meditative state, you will find a deepened connection to your inner wisdom, inner compass, and heart. You will be moving energy and creating space in the body by releasing stagnant energy and limitations. Through the breath you will be cleansing mind, body, and spirit leaving you feeling light, calm, energized, clear, and empowered. The guides for the evening will be assisting and offering reiki throughout, love & support. The cool down: this is the time to allow the work and body to harmonize, you will slowly integrate back into time and space. The cool down is accompanied by a sound bath. Post Breathwork Journey: When the session concludes it is a beautiful opportunity to journal and reflect on the experience. It is recommended to follow the session with lots of water and a nourishing grounding meal. Use this time to sit in self-love & gratitude.
