Do you have a unique talent for seeing what’s around you? For understanding what shapes the way you think, and impacts the way you live your life? What inspires and empowers you to use your creative voice? This contest is hosted by Bureau Gravity, a group of talented communicators looking to connect and empower the next generation of creatives. Work will be digitally displayed at a gallery event with open bar and light refreshments served.* Submissions & Awards: Open to photographers/videographers with less than 2 years of professional experienceSubmit up to 20 images and/or a 3-minute (max length) videoContent must be recent (shot or filmed during 2022)Images/video are judged on quality and originalityDeadline for entries: September 16th, 5 pm CDTContest winners announced at the event. Must be present to win.Winning Entry in Photography: $250Winning Entry in Videography: $250Featured Speaker: Marshall Garcia Garcia is a West Aurora High School student and photography intern at Bureau Gravity. He has documented skate, lowrider, music, government, and business culture over the summer and will speak to his work. This evening is open to the public and is just as much for the community as it is for you! So bring your friends, family members, and neighbors. Submit your work here.
