Rehoming Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot

Description
We are looking to rehome our Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot. She is a female, about 20-25 years old. The previous owner had her for almost 20 years and the owner passed away. We had her for about a year. She doesn’t really fly anymore, she walks around slowly, and climbs in and out of her cage at times. She stands around for the most time. She loves men - and will sing and dance and talk to men. She ignores all girls and women. She knows how to say a few basic phrase - like hello and come on. We tried teaching her new phrases this past year but she seems to only like to repeat a few words - like parrot and good. She will take treats/fruits/veggies out of a man’s hand, and will let men pet her. Again, she ignores all women and doesn’t want anything to do with women. She will attemp to peck at/bite women that gets too close, although she has never actually beaten anyone during our care. She comes with her cage and all accessories - the cage is one single solid piece that cannot be disassembled. It’s one of those really study cages that will last for a life time. Also comes with her food which will last for almost a year, plus a few bags of new nuts/treats. She’s on ZuPreem fruit and nuts blend. She drinks from a water bottle. We try to give her the best but with our family situation it’s best to rehome her. The parrot is best suited for someone (a man) who is experienced with parrots. Please note parrots require a lot of care and they are not meant to be a pet for kids. Parrots can live up to 40-80 years in captivity! Because her cage is one big solid piece, you would need an SUV, van or a pickup truck to transport her cage. We transported the cage in a Honda CRV with the chairs folded down. You must pick ip everything. We cannot deliver. We don’t have a transport kennel for you so you will need to bring a kennel or keep her in the cage while you transport her (this would require you to have a pick up truck so the cage can remaining standing). Serious inquiries only. Asking for $400 rehoming fee. Email or text if interested. We do not answer unknown phone calls. We can do live video conference/FaceTime if you’d like to see the bird remotely before coming to pick her up. Email or text to set up. Parrot bird parakeet Conure macaw cockatoo lovebirds
