Note: Must be 21+ to attend Prepare for Liftoff! — In 2019, “Storm Area 51” swept the country. While we didn't get to see them aliens, Shezmu Cellars initiated contact with a unit of extraterrestrial sonic warriors and built proper bass turbines, loaded the laser cannons and launched a blacklight space party like Atlanta had never seen! 🚀🪐🔭 This year we have an absolutely out-of-this-world audio squadron prepared on September 17 beginning at 9pm. Expect a journey through hybrid trap, cinematic dubstep, future bass, trance/house, and much more as we strap in for this intergalactic voyage! 🎚🔮✨ This year we are waiving the cover charge, but capacity limits will be enforced so be sure to Naruto RSVP to be on the priority list for entry! OR Grab a VIP ticket as soon as possible to get in early and access to uv body paint, glow sticks and jewelry, alien props and more! Last year’s launch sold out at 100% capacity, and in 2022, our calculations have determined a trajectory of maximum altitude. This is a special workshop where we will tie-dye our glow-worthy rave shirts and make rave kandi to complete the experience! Get tickets via the event on our website, facebook page, or eventbrite organizer page. WARNING! During the event, the venue is lit entirely by UV light and will feature lasers/strobes. If you have a history of epilepsy or are sensitive to UV or black lights, we do not recommend attending... seriously. Shezmu Cellars is an urban winery producing local honey-wines (mead) while also pouring 30 taps of craft beer and over 25 wines from North Georgia wine country. Shezmu Cellars believes mead doesn’t have to be a sweet dessert wine and focuses on producing sessionable dry meads served carbonated, nitrogenated, and still. View the Shezmu Cellars Menu now! Voted Best Winery in Georgia in 2020 and 2021 by the Georgia Business Journal, the Marietta winery is available as a venue for private events and hosts monthly art exhibits and comedy shows among the occasional themed party. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Do I need to be 21 to attend? --- Yes. NOTE OUR CLEAR BAG POLICY: Only the following bags are allowed: Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (maximum size: 12"x6"x12")Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (maximum size 4.5"x6.5")Is parking available? --- Yes, there is plenty of free parking in the lot in front of the winery... but if you're planning on drinking, please plan on taking a Lyft, Uber or designate a driver! Do I need to print my tickets? --- No! We will be able to check you in electronically. Is only wine available? --- Nope! We do have lots of wine, including a huge Georgia wine selection as well as Sake and other wine-based beverages. We also have 30 taps of craft beer and some domestics in bottles/cans. We do not serve liquor. Is there a kitchen? --- Unfortunately no. We often have food vendors at our events, but if we do not advertise them then our offerings will include charcuterie, chocolate and other bar snack options.
