Recognizing the need to defend public school education from movements which seek to subvert it into a vehicle to promote a narrow sectarian, ethno-nationalist agenda, residents of the Augusta area are meeting to form an organization which can support public education's mission to help all children achieve and contribute positively to a diverse and interdependent world by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access, regardless of family income or place of residence.
