Join us for a free event focused on learning more about Empowerment Resources, Inc. Journey Into Womanhood (JIW) Program. JIW is a rites-of-passage program for girls ages 9 to 17 (or 3rd-11th grade) that helps cultivate a healthy transition from girl to young woman.  Meet current JIW girls, volunteers, mentors, and learn more about the JIW program over games and food. Mandatory Parent Info Session 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Afterwards, parents (an adult over 18 years of age) are welcome to stay for the entire event or return when the event is over at 1 p.m. Location: Parent Info Session- Conference Room located inside the Arlington Congregational Church. Following info session, games and activities will take place both inside and outside. Refreshments will also be served. Parking:  Enter and park located on the side of the church on Floral Ave. The JIW program will have the first regular JIW meeting Oct. 16th. Applications will open up the end of September.
