FRIDAY • DECEMBER 9 • 7:30 PM Frederick Community College is celebrating the season with special performances in the JBK Theater! Join director Kimberly Hirschmann and the FCC Wind Ensemble to enjoy an engaging concert highlighting a variety of works played with musicality and verve by a hard-working and talented ensemble. Invite your family and friends too! ABOUT KIMBERLY HIRSCHMANN FCC Wind Ensemble Director Kimberly Hirschmann. Prior to serving as Curriculum Specialist for Secondary Visual and Performing Arts for Frederick County Public Schools in Frederick County, Maryland, Ms. Hirschmann was Director of Bands at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, Maryland, where she directed marching band, concert band, jazz band, orchestra, chamber ensembles, pit orchestra, and taught general music. She graduated magna cum laude from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and holds a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Messiah College. Mrs. Hirschmann continues to be an active adjudicator and clinician in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area, and served as adjunct music faculty for Elizabethtown College in fall 2019.
