Description

On May 21st volunteers planted 2,500 pollinator flower plugs into the soil, watered and mulched a flowering corridor along a new native prairie at Lake Elmo Park. Now it's time to put our mature plants to bed for fall. We'll water, add mulch and weed a bit. We are proud of this work we did together! Bring a trowel, shovel, or pail if you haveHelp out pollinators in decline and create beautySnacks and give awaysWhen you arrive at Lake Elmo Park Reserve, our volunteers will direct you to the planting area. It's an all-outdoor event, masks are optional and encouraged. Link to google directions. In case of inclement weather, we will reschedule. This is a joint program by Pollinator Friendly Alliance, Washington Conservation District, Washington County Parks and Wild Ones Oak Savanna.
