Description
7 available… mix of Roos and young hens.
$25 each OR $150 for the whole flock!
They are not as rowdy/loud as every source on the internet says they are!!! I thought I was in for a nightmare when I ordered the chicks and THEN did research on the breed afterward.. but it was one of the best impulse buys I’ve made!
Anyways, they’re awesome - docile, intelligent, and of course SO BEAUTIFUL. Regal, really, in the way they carry themselves.
I’ve had australorps, light brahmas, and buff brahmas before this flock and they were obnoxiously loud, and the smell of their excrement could peel paint off the walls 🤮 (I feed them the same brands which I like to switch off between Du-Mor and Purina) and in addition to their crumbles and scratch grains, I like to give them fresh fruits or veggies to snack on about two to three times per week.
They love diced apples (cored, of course), frozen watermelon (great for cooling down on these hot afternoons) and even frozen slices of lemon or limes.
My personal interests have changed in recent months and thus, my backyard hobbies are changing as well.
I’m not needing to get rid of them ASAP by any means, I’m just putting the word out there that these beautiful creatures are available and please don’t trust what the inter-webs tells you about them, come see them for yourself! I know when I was looking to add a new breed to my flock that this breed is not normally sold anywhere local unless you order them like I did, through tractor supply.
At least this way you won’t need a brooder unless you plan on seeing their babies running around your yard in the future 😇
Please reply via email if you have any questions
Or would like to arrange a date to pick them up.
Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!
