Join us as we continue our efforts to restore the Village One School with the Village School Foundation! Village One's school building is a World War One era school and community building and is one of the most historically significant buildings in North Alabama. The Village School Foundation seeks to repair the building so it may continue to serve as a community and educational resource. Read more about its history here. Each person may contribute in a way they are most comfortable. We will continue plastering and painting the main hallway cleaning up the auditorium, organizing old records, and landscaping outside. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirt/paint on and close-toed shoes. We will begin at 9:00 am and wrap up around 12:00 pm. Refreshments provided!
