Our intro to long range shooting is a Class design for the New long range shooter, and those looking to refresh their skills. It focuses on the fundamentals of long range marksmanship, we will cover a wide array of topics necessary for success in making hits at extended ranges.
Topics include: basic gear, proper shooting positions, mindset, focus, basics of ballistics and trajectory, holds and adjustment tracking, making a wind call, and scope and rifle set up.
Students will learn their 100 yd zeros and how to adjust the rifle for maximum accuracy. Students will preform ballistics app checks on their data at 100, 200 and 300 yd engagement distances. They will learn to assess wind direction and speed and to make a wind call.
Cost is $200.00 and a $25 range fee is due that day to the range.

Rifle capable of 2moa accuracy or better
Bipod or shooting bag
Scope capable of external adjustment
(Standard or lpvo)
60rds of ammunition minimum.
Rifle and scope with a basic zero at min of 50 yds
Ballistics app and note book for D.O.P.E.
Spotting scope or binoculars are helpful but not required
Sunscreen. Water. Snacks. Hat. Sunglasses. Ground mat is useful as we will he shooting from the ground most of the day.
