Provide maintenance, custodial, and grounds services at a local elementary school.
A. Maintenance Duties:
Keeps school and grounds in a dean and orderly condition
Makes minor repairs, replacements, or adjustments to campus equipment.
Paints and refinishes surfaces.
Operates hand and power equipment safely.
Stores supplies and equipment.
Make maintenance suggestions to MOT Director.
Moves large furniture or other items.
B. Custodial Duties:
Cleans classrooms, offices, restroom floors and fixtures, outside sinks, windows, and other cleaning as needed.
Uses vacuum, carpet cleaner, tile stripper/polisher, broom, mop, cleaning solvents, etc. in a safe and appropriate manner.
Empties waste baskets.
Replenishes soap, tissue, etc. as needed.
Moves, boxes, supplies, equipment.
C. Grounds Duties:
Mows and edges lawns.
Trims trees and bushes.
Removes weeds and trash.
Maintains sprinkler system.
D. Transportation:
Makes minor repairs, replacements, or adjustments to buses and vehicles.
Acts as substitute driver as needed.
