Position Summary: Rugby Architectural Building Products is growing. We are seeking a Warehouse Material Handler. This position reports to Warehouse Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for general warehouse duties of receiving, unloading and storing material delivered to a company branch. Who We Are Looking For: 1+ years experienced warehouse person Fast paced environment for someone who is quick but safety focused Able to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certification Lumber yard experience a plus Proficient and able to work safely with hand and power tools Must be highly quality-minded in all job functions Good oral communication, employee relations and customer service skills. Candidate offered the job will be required to pass drug test & background screening What You Will Do: Load and unload cabinets, countertops and various other building materials Check incoming product to verify material against receiving documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies or damage Locate and stage material for delivery by company truck or for pickup by customers Assist branch truck driver by loading and securing material in the truck in a manner that assures no damage in transit Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches shipping documents and that the products are in good condition Periodically examine stored material and report any deterioration or damage Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner Assist in taking inventory as required on a regular basis Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies Perform other duties and responsibilities as required Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to lift extremely heavy awkward products (up to 50-100 lbs. with a helper) repeatedly to store or load onto a truck Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouching Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision The employee will be required to work both inside and outside in extremes of cold, heat and humidity, depending on the season and location The candidate will be exposed to modest amounts of dust, fumes, noise and vibrations What’s in It for You: No nights or weekends – Monday thru Friday Medical Insurance, including dental and vision 401(k) Traditional & Roth Paid Time Off Great TEAM environment This role is a Safety Sensitive position.
