Scaffold Resource, the Washington DC Metro area's leading Scaffold and Hoisting Contractor is seeking experienced stake body and pick up truck drivers. Offering industry leading pay, overtime and benefits including 401K matching. Candidates must be able to pass all required pre-employment drug screening and fit test. All applicants must have reliable daily transportation to and from work. Ability to obtain background and security clearance for access to controlled projects is a must. Responsible for driving a stake body and pick-up truck in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures to transport various materials in a safe and timely manner. - Loading and unloading trucks and properly securing the load. - Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection of vehicles. - Climb on and off of truck and need to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs. - Transport over long distances (sometimes in excess of 100 miles from shop) to job sites. - When not driving, per direction by Shop Foreman, complete tasks in and around shop and yard.
