Rehoming 9 Month Old Male Husky

Description

Born 1/1/22, up to date on all vaccines (including outdoor ones), unaltered, pretty well trained. Still has that excitable puppy attitude of wanting to jump on you when you come home because he gets so happy, or when he meets new people, that has been a huge struggle to train out, but has become a lot better. Hates to be left alone and will whine and howl. Those are the only two issues that we have had with him. He's otherwise actually rather quiet and pretty well behaved. If he needs out, he usually comes and bothers you a few times until you ask him if he has to go outside. I'm sure he will learn to use a doggy door in days, or sooner. He went through puppy school and picked up on things very quickly there and what was taught at home. He was raised around cats and gets along with them, but thinks that when they run it's time to play so he will give chase! Timid around new dogs for a very short time, then of course it's play time. Unfortunately, I just had a major spinal surgery and with everyone else in the house working or at school he isn't able to get out like before or get the time and attention he really deserves. I need to find him a home that can help him unwind his energy or have another dog so he's not so lonely and bored! His name is Lucifur, also answers to Luci (a play on the TV show), and Bubba but he is still young and a name change would be easy. I am asking for a $100 rehoming fee, or $150 for him and his bed/large dog crate (he knows "bed time" when it's time for bed and "cage" if he gets in trouble). The cage and bed themselves cost us $150, it's chew proof and so far it's held up! I originally paid $600 for him in February, in Denver. He's a great dog with a ton more potential but my health would hold him back. Text or email only please!
