Description
2 year old male cat named Poncho. Went missing in October of 2021 near the 4th Ave./Downtown area (the specific cross-streets he went missing are E 19th St. and S Railroad Ave.).
He has a very high-pitched meow, like that of a kitten.
He is a white domestic shorthair cat with orange covering both of his ears and starting again in a spade shape on his lower back. His tail is striped orange and white. He has a blue canvas collar with a blue tag. He weighs about 8lbs and can be skittish, so it’s important to approach him calmly and quietly.
Leaving out food and backing away from the area, then slowly approaching him has worked in the past. He is very gentle with people and other animals.
(Note: his tag should read something along the lines of
“Poncho
928 S 7th Ave.”
That is my old address. It is very close to where he went missing, which was during the time I was moving. He could have also gone back to 7th Ave. because it’s a familiar environment to him.)
If you find him, please contact me. I no longer live at the location listed above, so I do not recommend a surprise drop-off. If he is found, I can and will come get him.
