Ready to Rent (Virtual - September) This free 4-class series is intended for those living in Central Oregon who want a competitive edge renting. During this series of classes, participants will learn how to budget for housing costs, what landlords look for in a tenant, how to overcome past barriers and about fair housing law. If you have found it difficult to get approved for or maintain a rental, this class can help. Many people have barriers such as poor rental history, poor credit, past evictions and or a criminal record that can make it difficult to get approved for a rental. Others struggle with budgeting that makes it difficult to stay up to date with rent. This class will give you the tools and tips you need to improve or eliminate those barriers. The class begins on September 8th and runs from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. It will be on Thursdays only and is held on September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
