Would you like three days off during the week? Can you stand for a long period of time with no problem? Do you like the cold? Do you like working with NICE people? Our PACKER role might be the role for you! Element Farms is looking for reliable Packers to help us pack our pesticide-free, safe, and delicious greens. Attendance is key so only commit if you can commit! Full time roles are available beginning at 4 days per week or 35+ hours per week. Part-time roles are also available. (See pay rate breakdown below.) As a Packer, you’ll work with our packing team in our temperature-controlled (read: chilly) packing area. You’ll bundle up and work quickly and efficiently to repeatedly pack plastic salad containers by hand. You’ll be standing for your entire shift and we’ve got mats to go under your feet. You’ll have a morning paid break, an unpaid lunch break, and sometimes our team might even let you choose the day’s soundtrack. Pay is two times per month via direct deposit. Benefits are available for full-time employees after a 60-day waiting period and we kicked off our new 401K offering. Element Farms reimburses for certain pre-approved gear expenses (specific warm clothes, work boots) and provides you with plenty of free salad greens. You’re a great fit if you’re ready to work! Warehouse, food service, or factory experience a plus but not required. We’re looking for new team members who are available 4 to 5 days per week. We work Monday through Saturday 8 AM - 6 PM and we'll work with you to find the right days for your life. Tasks include: -Packing greens -Weighing packages -Sticking labels/stickers -Counting cases -Moving boxes around -Adhering to food safety -Maintaining a clean work environment -Working in accordance with all safety regulations of the greenhouse packing area Attire: -Layers! Our packing room is a cold room (45-50 degrees) so layers are a must! -You must wear a hat, a baseball cap is preferred -Long hair must be tied back -Closed-toe shoes required -Shirts must cover full shoulders; NO tank tops Requirements: -A reliable way to get to work -Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs -Ability to stand for your shift COVID-19 Information: -PPE available -Element Farms sanitizes surfaces throughout the day -We adhere to food safety protocols Compensation: $16/hr for 35+ hours per week $15.50/hr for less than 35 hours per week
