Description
We are looking to hire a hard-working and dependable warehouse helper to process all incoming and outgoing merchandise in accordance with company guidelines. To be successful as a warehouse helper, you should be knowledgeable of standard warehouse practices and be able to lift or move heavy objects. Ultimately, an outstanding warehouse helper should be able to use various lift equipment safely and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
-Operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment to move materials within warehouses or from warehouse to staging areas for shipping
-Following strict safety procedures to ensure the safety of coworkers and prevent accidents
-Performing basic data entry tasks such as scanning bar codes on boxes or other inventory items using a computer system
-Loading and unloading trucks or shipping containers with items that need to be shipped to another location
-Loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies in a warehouse environment
-Operating warehouse equipment to store or retrieve products or materials such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or shelving units
-Ensuring that all warehouse orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner
-Stocking shelves with new inventory items or removing old inventory items as needed
-Maintaining an accurate record of inventory by scanning bar codes on products or recording item details manually
-Organizing and storing materials in warehouses to keep them safe and easily accessible
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7AM-3:30PM (Possible OT)

Qualifications:
-Pass Background Check and Drug Screen
-Forklift experience is a PLUS
-Proven experience working in a warehouse/shop setting
-Basic computer skills
-Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Good physical stamina.
