Jazz soloist wanted for paid gig

4-piece band looking for soloist to play upcoming casual gig in miracle mile area. Gig is first week of September. $100 for the night. Playing jazz covers. There will be rehearsal a couple days prior. Beer provided. Genres are jazz, soul, funk, groovy. We try to be as tight and in the pocket as possible. Emphasis on group improv and free form "jamming". Influences are Herbie Hancock, the Meters, Medeski Martin & Wood, New Mastersounds, etc. Looking for someone to fill in for this one gig, but if we hit it off maybe it can be more permanent. We rehearse a couple times a month, pretty casual but we're trying to get more paid gigs. Members are in low to mid 30's, don't take ourselves too seriously, and we have excellent taste in beer.
