Job Title: Artificial Turf Installer Reports to: General Manager Location: Westlake, Ohio FLSA Status: Full- Time, Hourly Job Summary: Ground Works Land Design is looking for an Artificial Turf Installer to become part of our vastly growing company. This candidate will take the lead and demonstrate the know-how and abilities required to perform the required job duties and other duties as assigned. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead installation of artificial turf which will include but not limited to Synthetic turf Various artificial turf landscapes and lawns Custom golf greens Pet friendly artificial turf Duties include and not limited to excavation, proper ground preparation, aggregated base building, drainage installation of turf, installation of turf (edging, turf cutting, seaming) (Experience a plus) Working jointly with Project Management and other departments as needed Ability to analyze and comprehend schematic diagrams and blueprints Performs other duties as assigned Educations and Experience: 3 years’ experience in artificial turf installation a plus Experience using equipment such as excavators, tillers, and sod cutters, among others Experience working with tools such as carpet knife, carpet chisel, measuring devices, motorized plate compactor, pressure washer, and other various hand tools Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Required Skills/Abilities: Adaptable to a growing team Effective communicator with the ability to be presidential when conversing with a client or fellow employee Detail oriented and organized Self-driven and positive attitude Able to work efficiently with little to no supervision Able to work with a team when needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment a plus Able to analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibilities Physical Requirements: Able to lift, push, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies in excess of 100 lbs What we offer: Healthcare Insurance (medical & dental) 401(k), 401(k) matching, Profit Sharing Year-Round Employment Employee Appreciation Events Paid Time Off EAP Program Professional Development Assistance Uniforms Ground Works Land Design is an equal opportunity employer.
