Description
I'm starting a podcast and I want the volume to my livestreams to be compressed and limited, so that everything stays at the same volume level and my listeners don't have to keep turning their volume up and down because something is either too loud or too soft. (I know I can do this with recording software for pre-recorded stuff, but I haven't seen anything for broadcasting live.) Is there any software out there that allows me to do this? And more importantly, is it free?
