ISO small, small lap dog - for PTSD

I'm searching for a small, small lap dog. My little one, Lil, passed last year. She was my emotional support dog and my baby. She was small and went everywhere with me and slept with me. I want to find a small, small lap dog to help me like Lil did. I suffer from PTSD and social anxiety. We lost our daughter and that threw me for a loop emotionally and made things worse for me. Lil was my comfort. I know free is hard to come by, but I definitely don't have hundreds of dollars. Most goes on our pets and their care. If possible, I would like to spend as little as possible for the rehoming fee because I'd rather spend it on everything it would need and so much more. My husband even complains that my furbabies are treated better than him. If anyone can help me or send me in a direction to find a small baby, I'd forever be grateful!
