Aloha. We are looking for a full time, long term, possible live in nanny. We live on the Northeast side of Kauai, tucked away on the base of a mountain on about 2 acres. We have 2 girls, ages 1 and 2, and a 14 year old boy. We also have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 sheep on the way.  We are looking for child care for our two girls primarily, but really want to find someone to integrate into our family and help where needed. Both girls have had babysitters since they were 2 months old, we are looking for someone permanent to grow with our family. Both my husband and I are self-employed. We have flexible schedules and are hoping to find someone to help us not only raise happy, healthy, kind humans but also help around the house where needed. We love carving out time for our kids as well, so when there are not enough hours for you to watch the kids for the week we would like someone who can help cook and clean and maintain the house for us. the work week would be 35-50 hours depending.   Our ideal candidate would be someone with previous young childcare experience, loves being outdoors just as much as they love children, someone who is not addicted to their phone or to any substances. Someone who is kind and compassionate with a lot of patience. Someone who is very tidy and clean and can teach our children to clean after themselves as well when needed. If you can cook healthy meals that is a big bonus, but not necessary. We are looking to put our kids in preschool, but homeschool from kindergarten to age 11. We want to find someone to help put together a curriculum and help teach them when needed. Hoping to find the right person to stay with us for the next 5+ years.  We are a very structured family and most days are very much the same. Lots of outdoor time. While we like to go out for beach adventures etc we follow the same sleep and eating schedule. We do follow a lot of the 'gentle parenting' methods, but we are very authoritative in our guidance, especially at this young age.   For the future we are hoping to take multiple yearly vacations and travel with our nanny as needed.  We currently have an extra room and bathroom detached from the main house that you can stay in.  We are hoping to do a 6-9 month test phase to decide if it's ideal long term.  If it is, we have a small separate home that would be available to move into on the property for the long term.  If these logistics sound like they might work for you I'd love to have an interview. I dont post my kids online so we'll have to have a conversation before we get into their details and personalities, as well as our personal property and business information. Our kids are wonderful and bright and are our whole world. We are excited to find the right care taker for them! Pay is negotiable depending on experience, hours, and wether or not you'll be living on the property as well.  Blessings!
