Reiki is a Japanese energy technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" or Chi flows through us from source and is what causes us to be alive. By tapping into this energy, we support the body in its ability to heal itself thereby improves one's health and enhances the quality of life. Reiki is simple, natural, and safe. It treats the mind, body, emotions and spirit. In this class we will review Reiki I and discuss any experiences and changes the student noticed after their attunement.. We will introduce the do’s and don’ts of energy work, session set-up and giving a Reiki treatment. We will present an overview of pre and post treatment etiquette. We will learn the second 2 symbols and their uses, Distance Healing techniques, the use of crystals, Healing Breath and the student's attunement. Finally, there will be ample time to review and practice. About the instructor: Kasimira Vogel obtained her Reiki training in 2008 and began school for massage Therapy the same year. She gained her massage license in June of 2010 and joined the The Studio Cleveland staff early 2011. Late in 2011 she then embarked into the Thai Yoga Massage training completing the basic training and culminating in an array of intermediate courses. In June of 2013 she received her 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher training. Since 2012 she has trained and inspired hundreds of students, both in Reiki and in yoga here at The Studio Cleveland and we are blessed to have her. The cost is $199.00 and "Reiki, the Healing Touch, First and Second Degree Manual" is included. Reiki I is a requirement for taking Reiki II. You can be certified Reiki 1 from another Reiki master. Reiki II Certificate along with a copy of lineage will be provided upon completion. Due to new regulations by the NCBTMB this class no longer offers CEUs for massage therapists
