Come together with other teens (she/her they/them) and learn the tools you need to battle bullies, maintain your mental wellness, and improve confidence. At the Dream Queen Foundation we envision a world where all girls have the knowledge and support, they need to step into positions of leadership and bring their whole selves to impacting the world, making it a more positive, peaceful, & joyful place to live. The mission of the Foundation is to offer a safe space where teen girls can come together to support one another & celebrate their dreams. Gals Lead has hosted over 400 teen girls through weekend retreats, and in school club programs. The Foundation offers to help teens align careers with passion & purpose, embrace authenticity & transparency, & replace greed & corruption with heart & soul through their signature curriculum. Gals Lead teaches teen girls the responsibility and the role of leadership and helps them develop a life-long love for learning. The curriculum is based on the four pillars of success: Know Yourself, Dream Big, Overcome Obstacles, & Take Action. Comments from previous graduates of the program: ‘Life was good but since I joined the club it has given me different ways to stay motivated and to keep chasing my goals’ ‘I was less confident than what I am now.’ ‘Now life is amazing and positive energy’ ‘I had nothing to do and I was lazy and tired (before the club). ‘Life was going good but its better with this club.’ ‘I was pent up but now I am free.’ ‘Life was unclear and unanswered. Currently it’s starting to improve.’ The safe space that is created inside of the club gives teens the tools they need to maintain their mental health and to improve their futures. During COVID the need for tools and resources to work with the community to help with mentorship & mental wellness has increased. Our curriculum has proven effective in providing the teens the tools they need to help themselves. We are looking forward to meeting you. We meet every Thursday!
