If you are interested in helping shape the Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network, we want to hear from you at one of our upcoming regional forums in September! At these meetings, we will map partner relationships across the state, workshop ideas for how the Network can best support Colorado’s forest collaboratives, and walk away with actionable next steps for the Network moving forward. Agenda (subject to change; final agenda will be sent out prior to each meeting): 9:45 – 10:30am: Coffee social (optional; coffee and snacks provided) 10:30 – 11:30am: Introducing the Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network 11:30am – 12:00pm: Mapping existing relationships across Colorado 12:00 – 1:00pm: Lunch (provided) 1:00 – 2:30pm: Workshop proposed work plan for the Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network (includes a break) 2:30 – 3:00pm: Wrap-up Who should attend? If you are interested in helping shape the goals and activities of the Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network, we want to hear from you! We encourage folks with an active role in one or more of Colorado’s 40+ place-based, forest collaboratives to attend one of our regional meetings to share their perspectives and experiences. Note that collaboratives that are not solely forest-focused, but whose work directly intersects with forests (i.e. watershed-focused collaboratives) are included in the Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network and encouraged to attend. Expenses: We have a limited amount of funding available to support your attendance. Please indicate in your registration if you would like to receive additional information about assistance. The meeting itself is FREE to attendees. Which forum(s) should I attend? We are hosting four regional meetings across the state. We encourage you to attend whichever makes the most sense for you based on where your work is focused, what groups you commonly interact with, meeting location, and timing. You are even welcome to attend multiple meetings, if you would like! More questions? Contact Katie McGrath Novak, Colorado Forest Collaboratives Network Coordinator [email protected]
