Description

Our Rocky Mountain District Fall 2022 Convention and Contest will be in Denver, October 7-8, at the Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center. This year’s Fall Convention will be more than a contest! There will be tag corners, polecat halls, a massed sing, and a harmony platoon. The Hyatt Regency is large enough to accommodate everyone who can attend, in a single building, and we look forward to the opportunity to open our performances to the many Barbershop fans in the immediate Denver area, since it has been many years since our convention was in Denver. Moreover, at $119 per night for standard double rooms, our special convention hotel rate is one of the lowest we’ve had in many years. If you would like to make hotel reservations, here is the link: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/DENVE/G-10BH If you have any questions or need assistance call Jim Campbell at (719) 593-1159. Massed SingAll convention registrants are invited to participate in a Massed Sing and perform on Saturday under the direction of RMD legend, Jim Clark. We'll sing "Hello, Mary Lou" and "From the First Hello" from the Polecat II book (https://shop.barbershop.org/barberpole-cat-songbook-vol-ii-print/) and a few songs from the Polecat I book (https://shop.barbershop.org/barberpole-cat-songbook-vol-i-print/) Harmony PlatoonLearn five songs in advance and be randomly assigned into quartets with other passionate barbershoppers for a competition. An extra fee applies in order to cover the cost of the music and learning tracks, which will be supplied after registration. If you previously paid to participate in Harmony Platoon in 2021 or at RMHC 2022, look for an email with a code to register again for free.
