RJV Construction is looking for a full-time Pipe Layer/Laborer to install water, sewer and drain systems on one of our crews. If you are organized, hardworking, and team focused, RJV can provide an excellent opportunity to work on major contracts in the Boston area. Please note that this is a full time, benefits eligible position that typically runs 9 – 10 months out of the year. Responsibilities • Installation of Ductile Iron water mains, PVC & Ductile Iron sewer mains and Concrete drain lines • Utilise tools, such as pipe lasers, grade rods and levels • Installation of service laterals, catch basin laterals, manholes and catch basins • Assist crew performing trench paving, adjusting castings, brickwork and general cleanup • Locate utilities by non-mechanical means • Drive tool truck/van to and from sites • Maintain tools and tool truck/van, including checking fluids, wash, wax, and maintaining dust-free interior Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy construction performing installation of water and sewer related items • CDL License is preferred • 2A Hydraulics License is preferred • Completed OSHA 10 training preferred • Boston Residents Preferred RJV Construction Corporation is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
