Wastewater Treatment Systems Operator Job Responsibilities • Must have a Grade 3 or 4 license for an industrial wastewater treatment system and keep it up to date. • Maintains and operates the waste water treatment system • Assists Lab Manager with chemical analysis • Processes the hazardous waste water through PH adjustment and cyanide destruct, settle out hazardous metals and discharge treated effluent water to the sewer according to MWRA standards. • Manages hazardous waste and properly dispose of drums to a licensed facility
