kitten and cat need a permanent home

I have a young female kitten I found starving and alone in an alley near my house about 2 months ago. Brought her home to get her to a healthy weight and she is now ready for a permanent home! I also have a 2 year old male cat (altered) who she has bonded to and I would like them to go together. His momma was taken in off the street as well while pregnant and when he was old enough and ready to leave, he was returned to us due to no fault of his own. Their dog did not like him. Both are very sweet, love lap cuddles and treats. Have been around other cats, dogs, and young kids. Can sometimes get startled easily, but neither have ever been aggressive.
