National Cleanup Day with the Newport Aquatic Center

Come join Wild Keeper, Brianne for a litter cleanup of Newport Beach! The Deets Who: Everyone! Bring friends, family, and more friends! When: 09/17/2022 from 8am-10am Where: Newport Aquatic Center 1 Whitecliffs Dr. Newport Beach, CA. 92660 Be prepared for Sun and Surf, you may get wet! Bring the SPF, and Kayaks/SUP Boards if you have them. We will be removing the litter from the bay if you feel comfortable paddling and pickup. Paddling is not mandatory. There is plenty of litter in the sand and along the shoreline. Stuff to Know: Wear outdoor appropriate attire and your Keep Nature Wild gear is always a plus :) Shoes/boots and long pants are always recommended as well as a hat or some form of shade. We will provide bags and gloves. Feel free to bring trash grabbers and buckets in lieu of bags. You don’t need any sort of pass or permit for this event. Cleanup events are inherently dangerous and can be strenuous. We will be reviewing safety precautions prior to the cleanup.
