Last year this was a SOLD OUT EVENT with over 700 tickets sold Description: Colloquially and affectionately referred to as “fashion’s biggest night out,” the Met Gala is a pinnacle of iconic style. This event typically features A-list celebrities/personalities, along with high rollers. This event will be adapted at the college level so that students have an opportunity to enjoy the luxury and status that the Met Gala provides in a university-town setting. The Event: The event will feature a red carpet w paparazzi & reporters, 360 photo booth, live DJ, best dressed contest, live performances, full bar service, and the BIGGEST PARTY IN TOWN once you enter the "ballroom". But the excitement doesn’t stop there—the gala also signifies the highly anticipated theme of “Through the Decades” selected by UIUC students that’ll be brought to life through decoration and their outfits! DRESS CODE STRICTLY ENFORCED (Improper attire = NO ENTRY) - This is a high class event.
