integrity based on honesty

As a life long Republican, I am becoming more and more disillusioned by what seems to be a party of mean spirited actions and so much dishonesty. I keep hearing the Republican party is now the party of Trump, this alone and the insurrection on Jan 6th has made me look alternatively at who to vote for in the coming elections. The latest news of the FBI raid and what it is uncovering in terms of the way Trump has handled classified information and he and his allies are desperately attempting to put a spin on it as something other that what it is, leads me to believe the Republican party should be renamed the party of deception. I would ask all of them, to gain what? Trump and everyone of his allies are looking more and more like complete fools, I would ask if they are honest, why the apprehension to responding to subpoenas, investigating the good for all in the United States, nothing to hide then testify! Most recently, Lindsay Graham(a man I once had immense respect for has become some kind of a coward, in terms of honesty, what gives? Another is our local Pete Stauber, I've followed and supported him since he was first elected. but his propensity to say one thing and actually do another has weakened by feelings for him, he definitely seems to align with the party of Trump and in all honesty I donot believe its good for Minnesota or the entire country. Ive done some homework on his rival Jen Schultz and as much as I dont align with her liberal agenda, I hate to admit it but she presents herself far better overall for the people of Minnesota as well as the entire country... In my family we were bred to believe firmly that dishonesty leads to mistrust so in all honesty I have to say the dishonesty perpetrated under Trumps administration and supported by so many in the Republican party is really dishonorable. Funny how Liz Cheney has been ostracized for being honest, the integrity she has shown in terms of old fashioned Conservative values is what I want to see in the Party I once knew, not the direction lacking honesty and integrity in terms of values Trump has taken the Republican party!!! I will no longer be voting for a Party, but for candidates that at least present themselves honestly and have proven track records of integrity when it comes to the people of America... The affects and influence of Trump is a complete disaster if it turns any self Respecting Republican against voting for a party and its values...
