Description
The Pierce Center for Disciple-Building at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Hamilton) is offering Soul Sabbath and we invite you to join us for a day of silence, worship, and prayer especially designed to nurture your soul. When to Arrive, What to Bring Plan to arrive at the retreat center no later than 8:45 a.m. (light refreshments will be provided). At 9:00 we will gather as a large group for an introduction of the day and instructions on how you will use the remainder of your day. You will have your own time of silence and solitude indoors or outside, as well as group worship, a noon meal, and the option of meeting one-on-one with a spiritual director. The Soul Sabbath will conclude at 4:00 p.m. Please bring your Bible, a journal, and a pen. That’s all unless you have a devotional book you want to bring. Leave behind the distractions. In the slowing, we pray you will hear God’s still, quiet voice. We are in prayer for you as you prepare for this day of Soul Sabbath. About Your Meal Lunch will be provided for each participant. Do you have any dietary restriction(s)? Please email your dietary note(s) to James Hauptman, at [email protected] or 978-646-4026, by noon EDT on Friday, October 21, 2022. The kitchen director at this retreat center requests our list of participants' food allergies two weeks before the event date. From the Kitchen Director: "We are able to accommodate the following dietary restrictions: Vegetarian/Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Dairy Free. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for your participants. If anyone has dietary needs outside of these restrictions, I would encourage them to bring their own food. Salad is also available. Thanks!" Notre Dame Spirituality Center 30 Jeffreys Neck Road Ipswich, MA 01938 September, 2021 Dear Retreatants, We look forward to welcoming you to the Spirituality Center.
