The G.U.T.S. (Girls United To Succeed) awards is the first city-wide event that acknowledges and recognizes women and girls of color who have made great strides in industries that have not always been inclusive. The women showcased and awarded at this event are from Shreveport that have proven to push through and past stereotypes in their desired profession but are successful in their professional fields. This speical program of Gertrude's Gifts is part of their mission of improving girls women's self-esteem, body image and mental health, but it also equips girls and women with the tools and confidence to advocate themselves. The event will feature four narive Shreveport professional women of color, launch of the new My Spa My Way beauty product line, introduction of a new boutique fashion line, and feature a fashion show that represents fashion from around the world. Come mingle with friends, ask questions, support Gertrude's Gifts, and be a part of a unique and inspirational event. Please note that all current COVID-19 protocols will be strictly enforced.
