Description
Hello,
We need to get rid of our Chiweenie, Major. We’ve recently had a new baby enter the family, and over the past few months it’s become very clear that the Chiweenie breed is NOT a good breed for little kids. We’re really sad to let Major go, but we really must find him a new home for his and our kids well being.
A little bit about Major:
He’s seven years old. Besides the issue he has with very small kids, he’s a sweetheart who loves people. He loves having his own little nook to retreat to when he’s tired. But he’s also a huge cuddler that will insist on sleeping in your bed with you.
He has a pretty strict diet of raw chicken drumsticks only. No kibble or wet food for this little guy. He hasn’t eaten any of that for the past 7 years and he’s doing very well. He has zero health issues. You can buy the chicken drumsticks from either a Trader Joe’s or a sprouts or Whole Foods. Anywhere that sells raw chicken drumsticks will do, really. He eats roughly one drumstick per day.
He’s a good alert dog. He’s also found two mice in our house in the past 2 years. He’s a very fast runner once you get him warmed up.
He’s most compatible with adults and teenagers. He is NOT a good match for someone with small children in the house.
There is a re-homing fee of $100 for Major. He comes with a leash, a harness, his collar, dog bowls, his crate, and his bed.
