A Book Birthday Party and Open House Celebrating "Mr. Thatcher's House"

Readers of all ages are invited to step inside the real-life Southwest Austin home that inspired “Mr. Thatcher’s House,” a new children’s book written and illustrated by debut author Kristin Wauson, and published by Sleeping Bear Press. On Saturday, September 24 and Sunday September, 25 from noon to 8 pm attendees will enjoy beverages and light refreshments, miniature horses, story times, crafts, tours of the house, and a meet and greet with the author and the real Mr. Thatcher. A limited quantity of author-signed copies of the book will be available. Tickets are free.
