This 8 hour hands-on class is for licensed medical professionals that are interested in entering the field of medical aesthetics and for those who are new to aesthetics and would like to master neurotoxin injections. This is a hands-on training class and each participant will inject at least 3 areas of the face. The goal is for each participant to feel confident injecting neurotoxins in all areas of the face. This course is casual, fun and very educational. SCHEDULE: 9-9:30am - Introduction to aesthetics 9:30-10am - Role of the MD and RN in aesthetics and legal issues 10-10:30am - History of neurotoxins & pharmacokinetics 10:30-11:00am - Facial anatomy11am-12 pm - Facial assessment 12-1pm - Lunch with question and answers1-1:30pm - Consultation process, photos, consents 1:30-2pm - Reconstitution, dosages and drawing up2-5pm - Hands on practice (Each participant will be injected with neurotoxin or normal saline)
