WFU's Military Science Department hosts a public event in remembrance of September 11, 2001. The Winston-Salem Community is invited to come out and participate in climbing 2,997 steps which represents the lives of families, friends and loved ones that were lost during the tragic incident. This is a significant event that is hosted yearly by the "No Fear!" Battalion that attracts all service members (Local Police, Firefighters, Military) along with local Civilian Patriots.
