On November 10, 2022, Marines across the globe will recognize and acknowledge 247 years of service to their country, the sacrifices made to defend democracy, and the Marine Corps’ enduring legacy as America’s premier fighting force.The Marine Corps’ annual tradition celebrates the establishment of the organization on November 10, 1775, by the Second Continental Congress. Join us for our 2nd annual celebration of the United States Marine Corps Birthday on Thursday, November 10th at Collierville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5066 . There will be a 247th US Marine Birthday ceremony followed by dinner and drinks . This is a free event for Marines, Veterans and special guests. Our Guest of Honor will be announced at a later date.
