Flywheel Café is a monthly celebration of founders, investors and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We’ll be holding it the second Wednesday of each month from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at Fireforge Crafted Beer. We'll gather to connect, learn and party over beer, wine, light appetizers and music. When: Wednesday, September 14 | 5:00 – 6:00 pm Where: Fireforge Crafted Beer (311 E Washington St, Greenville) Meet Our Guest Speakers: Brian Stearns - RingoFire, Founder & CEO Brian launched RingoFire, a marketing and product innovation agency in 2016 while completing his MBA at Clemson University. RingoFire was recently named the 5th fastest growing agency, globally, by AdWeek. The company plans to expand and grow to over 75+ team members by Q4 of 2022. Brian has been recognized twice as one of the "Top 20 under 40" for his involvement and leadership in the upstate community of South Carolina. Gary Shiffman, PhD - Giant Oak, Founder & CEO / Consilient, Founder & CEO Gary believes that it is up to small groups of people to create the innovations which overcome great odds to empower others and improve the world. A Gulf War veteran, he held several National Security positions in the U.S. government. He earned a PhD in economics, and he writes, teaches, and works on DARPA-funded research and development. He created two technology start-ups, both Machine Learning-based Software-as-a-Service companies; he has raised over $19 million in Seed and Venture series rounds for these companies since 2018. Gary and his wife live in downtown Greenville with a bulldog and a pug.
